Stephen Hinshaw, Ph.D

The Hinshaw Lab is located at the University of California Berkeley, where Stephen is currently a Professor of Psychology. The lab's research focuses on two subjects: Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Stigmatization of Mental Illness, and specifically investigates the developmental mechanisms underlying ADHD and associated behavioral and emotional issues.

In addition to serving as a professor, Dr. Hinshaw served as a department chair from 2004-2011. He is also Professor of Psychiatry and Vice-Chair for Child and Adolescent Psychology at the University of California, San Francisco.
